In April 2020, Curious PR publicised an urgent and impassioned global initiative to combat COVID-19 using the power of creators around the world. The United Nations Global Creative Call Out resulted in 17,000 submissions of creative work from people in 143 nations - such as graphic design, illustration, music and video content.

Each UN-approved submission covered 1 of 6 W.H.O. messages, such as social distancing, hand washing or kindness contagion. One submission which received a stunning response and went viral included this video celebrating immigrant NHS workers’ contribution to the crisis, which, at the time of writing, had 8 million views!

Our work at Curious PR helped secure global media attention about this bold campaign on BBC World News (TV), The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Grazia Middle East, CAMPAIGN Magazine, Little Black Book Online and Creative Review.
We are extremely proud to have played a role in getting the key messages of this prestigeous campaign out to the world, and delighted it received a commendation in The Drum's New Years Honours in early 2021.
