UN x Talenthouse
In April 2020, Curious PR publicised an urgent and impassioned global initiative to combat coronavirus using the power of creators around the world. The United Nations Global Creative Call Out resulted in 17,000 submissions of creative work from people in 143 states – work such as graphic design, illustrations, music and video content.
Each UN-approved submission is now hosted at unitednations.talenthouse.com and covers 1 of 6 W.H.O. messages e.g. social distancing, hand washing, kindness contagion.
We helped secure global media attention about this bold campaign on BBC World News (TV), The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Grazia Middle East, CAMPAIGN Magazine, Little Black Book Online and Creative Review.
One submission that received a stunning response, eventually going viral, included this video celebrating immigrant NHS workers’ contribution to the crisis, which, at the time of writing, has had 8 million views!
We are proud to have played our part in getting the campaign's messages out to the world, and delighted that the campaign received a commendation in The Drum's New Years Honours in early 2021.
